Sapphires are very hard jewels, second only to Diamonds on the Mohs hardness scale. Sapphires share a common family with Rubies. The only difference between these two members of the Corundum family is color.

Although "Sapphire" means blue in Latin, Sapphires can be found in an entire rainbow of colors. We offer the most popular and valuable  Ceylon blue, a rich lustrous deep blue.
